At their Oxford and Deeside Publishing Plants, Energystor replaced a variety of traditional lighting with energy efficient LED alternatives, including specialist amber lighting to preserve the light sensitive print plates. Consequently, an improvement in lighting levels has resulted in a safer working environment, particularly in the reel store and press halls, and a significant reduction of 67% in energy consumption.
